At Camping Le Kergariou, you can take advantage of our indoor swimming pool at 28°C, open all year round. Its modular roof opens as soon as the sun comes out, for outdoor swimming. There’s also a paddling pool for children to play in the water in complete safety.

Just a 45-minute drive from our campsite, Quimper, capital of the Cornouaille region, boasts the Gothic cathedral of Saint-Corentin (13th-15th centuries), a medieval town center with half-timbered houses and artisanal earthenware factories, including the famous HB-Henriot factory. Halfway along the route, stop off at Fouesnant, a seaside resort renowned for its sandy beaches (Beg-Meil, Cap-Coz), marina and apple orchards, which produce the famous Breton cider. If you have the time, you can continue your tour as far as Douarnenez and Cap-Sizun: an authentic concentration of maritime and cultural Brittany.
From Pointe du Raz to the Glénan islands
For a day of escapism, head for the Pointe du Raz, classified as a Grand Site de France, or embark for theGlénan archipelago and its turquoise waters. These emblematic spots in South Finistère offer breathtaking panoramas, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers and photographers. Along the way, stop off at authentic Bigouden ports: Le Guilvinec, France’s first fish market, Loctudy, Lesconil and Saint-Guénolé. In summer, don’t miss the famous Interceltic Festival, which sets the city alight in August. From Lorient, you can also set sail for the island of Groix and its wild beaches.
