Yes, we have a garbage disposal accessible to all campers.
Is a water refill included in the motorhome package?
Yes, water refilling is included in the package. You can fill up directly in the dedicated area, in complete peace of mind during your stay.
Payments
When do I have to pay for my stay?
A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking. For rental stays, the balance must be paid one month before arrival, due to the large number of last-minute cancellations. For camping pitches, the balance must also be paid one month before arrival. When booking, you can take out cancellation insurance. See reservation contract.
What methods of payment are accepted for my stay?
We accept credit cards, cheques (payable to Camping Le Kergariou), cash, vacation vouchers, e-vouchers, bank transfers …
Tourist taxes?
Tourist taxes are compulsory, set by the intermunicipality and taxed at 10% by the region. On our website, when you book, you can have your tourist tax calculated. This will be done automatically by correctly entering the age of the participants.
How much does it cost?
By entering the total amount of your stay on the website, you will be given the amount of your stay. Once availability has been confirmed by the campsite, this amount is fixed unless the customer changes the dates of stay or the number of participants.
Do you accept VACAF vouchers?
We have CAF (caisse d’allocation familiale) accreditation. However, following the reform of the CAF for the payment of benefits, we have not carried out the computerized procedures and are therefore not a partner of VACAF.
The arrival
What time can we arrive?
On the campsite, we do not set arrival times, except for closing times and provided your pitch is available. In this case, you can choose another pitch or wait until the afternoon. For rentals, after the departure of the previous occupants by 10 a.m., we proceed to clean and repair if necessary. Rentals are available after this time. For greater security, accommodation is available after 3pm. Please check with reception beforehand.
What do I need to do on arrival?
After parking your vehicle in the parking lot, go to reception to complete or check your entry form. We will take this opportunity to review the services included in your stay.
A deposit of €20 is required for access to the barrier if you are camping; this will be returned to you on the day of your departure. For rental accommodation, a deposit of €400 is required. This will be returned within 48 hours of your departure, once the cleaning has been checked.
What time can I leave?
During reception opening hours. Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon. For rentals, around 10 a.m. If you need to leave earlier on the day of your departure, please inform the reception so that we can adapt to your needs. In order not to disturb the sleep of other holidaymakers (cleaning, washing, vacuuming), please allow for a cleaning fee.
The swimming pool
What time is the pool open?
The pool is open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm. At 7pm We only ask that you do not enter the swimming pool. Occupants may leave the pool after 7pm. We need this time to maintain and clean the pool area, but above all it allows us to regenerate the pool water and rebalance its chlorine and PH levels.
Who can go swimming?
All campsite residents have free access to the swimming pool. Children who cannot swim are provided with buoyancy aids exclusively for the pool, and must be accompanied by an adult.
Can visitors use the swimming pool?
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. The pool is not open to the public.
What to wear for swimming?
To avoid damaging the pool water, clean clothing is mandatory. Access is via the foot bath, and showering is compulsory. Unsuitable bathing attire and miscellaneous objects lead to over-consumption of products and inconvenience for bathers (chloramines). The Agence Régionale de Santé (French Regional Health Agency) is unable to control bathing attire and the origin and previous use of objects, and has therefore banned bathing shorts, as well as all external objects (large buoys, used French fries, balls, inflatable mattresses, snorkel masks, etc.). In season, we organize an aqua kids program, reserved for babies and children who can’t swim and their parents. We provide a motorized structure, mattresses, fries and various games…
WI-FI
Are they everywhere?
We regularly install kiosks on our structure. We now have 70% coverage. Of course, we are dependent on your reception equipment, as well as the geography and structure of your accommodation (Faraday cage in mobile homes).
Why does it have to be paid for?
All campsites have the same type of Internet access point as a private home. We’re on the seafront and therefore at the end of the road. WI-FI would be free if there was no service. Our current bandwidth is 8M, to be shared between users… Using the internet for downloading, streaming or bandwidth-hungry network games is highly inadvisable, and to the detriment of other users…
Who can get free wi-fi?
Certain ranges of accommodation include television and wi-fi. At reception, we offer 15 minutes per day per pitch.
On site
At what time can I enter the campsite?
You can enter the campsite on foot at any time. For vehicles, the entrance gates are closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. You can use the badge given to you on arrival to gain access to your pitches. You can also park your vehicle at the entrance.
What current and electrical connection?
The standard electrical connection is a European plug. All pitches have 10 amperes, i.e. 2.2 kw.
Can we barbecue?
We authorize gas and charcoal barbecues subject to safety conditions: they must be switched off after 10 p.m. (risk of flare-ups in windy conditions) and not in accommodation or on wooden terraces, even if covered… We are opposed to other large electrical equipment, barbecues, planchas, pierrades and so on… We have no local electricity production, and all this equipment operates at the same time.
Are there any animations?
On certain days, we offer morning activities for children under 12, and evening activities for all ages.
The weekly program is posted at reception, available on the Flower Camping app, and in our digital welcome booklet, which you will receive by e-mail 14 days before your arrival.
Ecology
Why doesn't the campsite have an eco-label?
For us, ecology is non-negotiable. We all have to make sure we don’t waste resources.
How do I turn off a light in the campsite?
In the early days of the campsite, campers used to turn the lights on and off in the sanitary block… It was often on. Given this situation, we have automated the switching off of the lights. The lights are gradually replaced by LED lamps.
What about water?
Based on the same principle as the light points, the water points are equipped with timers and economizers. We have planted local species or plantations that naturally thrive in our climatic conditions. Strange as it may seem, we don’t water hydrangeas, and we don’t put UV lamps on olive or palm trees…
