Enjoy the little ports of Moëlan-sur-Mer
Three typical, picturesque ports await you just a few minutes from our campsite, not to mention the charming port of Doëlan only 1.5 km away! It’s the ideal place to discover the Brittany region, and in particular the charm of South Finistère.
For fishing and tasting enthusiasts, discover the port of Brigneau, a former sardine port. The port is still active in inshore fishing. You can buy fresh fish here. Take a stroll and admire the renovated facade of the former Malachappe cannery. Today, it’s a marina where motorboats and sailboats depart for the day.
A little further on, surrounded by the Plaçamen wood, the port of Merrien is dedicated to the breeding and sale of oysters and shellfish. On the right bank, you’ll see the old customs house, known as “Maison Houard”, overlooking the sea. A bridge at the end of the ria takes you to the left bank, where you’ll find the port of Merrien and its producers. For oysters and other seafood, we recommend Kermagoret.
The cradle of the “Bélon” flat oyster, renowned by connoisseurs, the little port of Bélon can be discovered from the oyster-farming river. The beauty of its banks is a delight for painters and nature lovers alike, who can take a boat trip to discover the Bélon and the nearby river Aven.

Before you leave, take a look at your feet – maybe shrimps or crabs will beckon you for a fishing experience on foot.
Where the Aven and Belon rivers meet, you can relax on Kerfany beach. This beach, supervised by the SNSM (Société nationale de sauvetage en mer) in summer, is ideal for families, and children can also enjoy the play area.
