Sporting and fun vacations at Le Pouldu
A wide choice of water sports activities awaits you at Le Pouldu. You can take sailing, surfing or paddle lessons… or canoe up and down the Laïta.
If you like walking, there are many coastal and country paths accessible to all. Before returning to the campsite, don’t hesitate to take a walk along the GR34 trail, along the Laïta river, where nature will recharge your batteries.
Accompanied by younger children, spend some time among the animals at the Quinquis animal park in a remarkable wooded setting. You can also discover the small marina of Le Pouldu-Port, where you can sail along the coast and beaches to enjoy Guidel-Plages and its surf spots.

The Bellangenet beach parking lot provides safe access for young children and people with reduced mobility. The beaches of Le Pouldu are also accessible on foot from our campsite via the GR34 (customs path – white and red markings).
Le Pouldu-Port welcomes you for a drink on the terrace opposite Guidel Plages, where you can enjoy the passing boats. Perfect for relaxing between activities or at the end of the day.
Cultural stay in Le Pouldu
Le Pouldu also boasts a rich cultural heritage, much appreciated by visitors. The town grew up around the painters of the Pont-Aven school, such as Paul Gauguin and Paul Sérusier. Their reputation played an important role, and the commune of Clohars-Carnoët has set up a walk in their footsteps. Discover the places that inspired their paintings. On the Finistère side of the Laïta river, the abbey site of Saint Maurice is a former Cistercian abbey in ruins. The 13th-century chapter house is listed as a historic monument, as are all the other buildings. Nature lovers love this site for its remarkable flora and fauna.
