Trégunc’s most beautiful beaches
Trévignon beach is undoubtedly the star of the Trégunc coastline. With its blond sand and turquoise waters, it rivals the most beautiful beaches in Brittany. Practical tip: arrive early in July and August to find a parking space easily!
What to expect:
- Supervised swimming in season
- Nautical base with kayaks and paddles for hire
- Famous kitesurfing spot when the wind picks up
- Authentic fishing port: buy fresh fish around 4 p.m. when the boats return.
- Terraces facing the sea for sunset aperitifs
Also worth a visit are the Beaches of Kersidan, Don and Trescao : these three nearby beaches are a paradise for sports enthusiasts and active families.
The GR34 customs trail
The famous coastal path runs for 23 kilometers through Trégunc. There are several routes to choose from, depending on your level of fitness. To see along the way: secret coves, ocean views, golden dunes, maritime pines, protected flora and fauna.

The Pointe de Trévignon and its small fishing port: a must-see site
Not to be missed! The Pointe de Trévignon is one of the most beautiful natural sites on the Finistère coast. Trégunc’s emblematic green-and-white lighthouse, built in 1924, guides ships along the coast of southern Finistère. Sit on the terrace of one of the ocean-facing cafés to watch the return of the trawlers each afternoon (times vary according to navigation) or admire one of Brittany’s most beautiful sunsets. A magical moment to enjoy with family or friends. In July and August, the Sunday morning market at the Pointe de Trévignon is the place to be for lovers of local produce and a friendly atmosphere.
Dunes de Trévignon Ornithological Reserve
A 300-hectare Natura 2000 zone where over 150 species of birds nest: herons, egrets, ducks, gravelots… Guided tours offered by the Bretagne Vivante association to discover this unique ecosystem.
Places of interest in Trégunc: the Standing Stones (Mein Zao)
Trégunc and Névez are home to a heritage unique in France: the “standing stones” (mein zao in Breton). These impressive monolithic granite blocks, up to 2.70 m high, date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Guided tours are organized in season: departure at 10 a.m. in front of the Trégunc Tourist Office (2h). Reservations recommended.

Concarneau (40 minutes): Ville Close: medieval fortress surrounded by ramparts, fishing port (one of France’s leading tuna ports), Marinarium (aquarium and marine discovery center), fish market and colorful market.
Pont-Aven (45 minutes): City of painters (art galleries and Gauguin museum), walks along the Aven between mills and laundries, famous waterside crêperies.
Névez and Port-Manec’h (35 minutes): Tahiti beach (turquoise waters and white sand), thatched cottages of Kerascoët (postcard hamlet), Port-Manec’h (protected cove and retro bathing cabins), enchanting coastal paths.
Glénan archipelago (1h + crossing): board at Concarneau for a day in paradise, with lagoons worthy of the Tropics, the beach of Saint-Nicolas with its immaculate white sand, a renowned diving and sailing school, and an exceptional protected natural site.
Quimper (55 minutes): medieval historic center and cobblestone streets, Saint-Corentin cathedral (Gothic masterpiece), HB-Henriot earthenware factories, museums and cultural festivals (Festival de Cornouaille).
